Dragon Boat League

Join our new RIVERSPORT Dragon Boat League!

Dragon boating is the world’s fastest growing water sport, and it’s a great way to get on the water with family, friends or colleagues. The oversized canoe has a dragon head and tail, and everyone paddles to the beat of a drummer.

Each Dragon Boat League season lasts six weeks and ends with a race for bragging rights as the grand finale. It only takes 8-12 paddlers to form a team from your church, civic organization or office. Or, join by yourself or with a smaller group of friends!

The fall Dragon Boat League begins August 23 with six weekly one-hour practices leading up to racing under the lights at the 2010 OGE NightSprints during the Oklahoma Regatta Festival, October 7-10. Or choose the half season starting September 13 – three practices and the same night racing experience. With either option, you’ll also enjoy  a scrimmage race mid-season and a barbecue the whole family can enjoy!

(Must be 16 years or older to participate.)

Registration

Team: $825 full season /$550 half season

Individual: $75 full season  / $50 half season
