Kayak Rentals

Whether you’re an experienced paddler or you’re getting on the water for the first time, kayaking is a great way to explore Oklahoma’s waterways!

RIVERSPORT offers kayak rentals daily, March through October, at both the Chesapeake Boathouse at the Oklahoma River and at the Route 66 Boathouse at Lake Overholser.

Kayaking is easy to learn and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. We’ll show you the basics, including everything you’ll need to stay safe on the water, and fit you with a PFD (life preserver). Interested in more instruction? Check out our lessons.

Downtown at the Oklahoma River, you can paddle dam-to-dam in the Eastern basin of the river where you’ll find big skies and wide open spaces. Route 66 offers access to the scenic Stinchcomb Wildlife Refuge along the North Canadian River at Lake Overholser. [map]

Kayak Rentals $15/person per hour. Last rental is one hour before the boathouse closes.  No reservation required, but we do recommend making a reservation for groups of six or  more. Ages 8+
