Boathouse District
The Boathouse District is located on Oklahoma River just south of the intersection of Lincoln Blvd. and Reno Ave., near the I35 and I40 interchange. It is a short walk or trolley ride from the Bricktown entertainment district and downtown Oklahoma City. See our maps.
The Boathouse District offers rowing, kayaking, dragon boating running, cycling and fitness activities, and is the site of the OKC National High Performance Center, a US Olympic & Paralympic Training Site for rowing and canoe/kayak. You’ll also find 13+ miles of Oklahoma River trails and the eastern docking point for the Oklahoma River Cruisers.
Oklahoma City’s community boathouse, Chesapeake Boathouse, is at the center of the activity, and an extensive development project is under construction that includes the Devon Boathouse, home of Oklahoma City University Rowing; the Chesapeake Finish Line Tower; the University of Oklahoma Boathouse and the University of Central Oklahoma Boathouse. Free parking is available in the lots adjacent to the boathouses.
