Rowing Tank

The OKC National High Performance Center at the Devon Boathouse features the world’s first dynamic propulsion rowing tank. The Stillwater Design tank provides both moving water and – a first – moving rowing stations. Up to eight athletes at a time can either sweep or scull as a camera system projects side profile views of the athletes’ rowing technique onto the wall facing the rowers.

RIVERSPORT now gives you access to this unique training experience. The rowing tank is utilized most often by high performance athletes during training, but it is also used during Learn to Row lessons and our junior and masters rowing programs. Team Building Experiences take groups of eight or more into the rowing tank with a focus on building communication and teamwork.
