Run & Cycle
The Oklahoma River offers 13+ miles of trails and there’s no better way to explore them than on a run. Serious runners use the Oklahoma River for training runs, while casual joggers and families enjoy this downtown treasure at a more leisurely pace. Running groups meet regularly at the river with informal RIVERSPORT teams training and racing together at community events such as Red Bud and the Memorial Marathon.
Join the OKC Landrunners for RIVERSPORT Run & Walk, a free program that meets Tuesdays at 5p, April through October, in the Boathouse District.
If you’ve been thinking about getting into cycling but aren’t sure where to get started, check out our Wednesday RIVERSPORT Ride. It’s a fun, easy ride for anyone new to the sport. Rides are held April through October, weather permitting.
The Boathouse District and Route 66 Boathouse offer bicycle rentals for only $15, helmet included.
