The Ohio State University, BS ’19, MS ’21. Sierra is a native of Chillicothe, Ohio and started her rowing career at The Ohio State University in the fall of 2015 as a walk-on. In 2019 Sierra earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion, Nutrition, and Exercise Science. She then served as Ohio State’s Graduate Assistant Coach from 2019-2021 while working towards her masters in Sports Coaching. As a student-athlete at Ohio State from 2015-19 she was part of three Big Ten Championship teams and was a top five finisher at the NCAA Rowing Championships. She was a three-time academic All-Big Ten selection, a four-time Ohio State Scholar Athlete, and served as a team captain. Sierra also represented the Columbus Development Camp, winning gold at the USRowing championships in the senior 4+. Sierra is excited to develop her technical skills and continue to build her fitness with the hopes of representing the United States at future World Championships and Olympics.

ABOUT: RIVERSPORT OKC is a US Olympic and Paralympic Training Site for both rowing and canoe/kayak. The nonprofit organization has hosted numerous national and international canoe/kayak race events including 2016 US Olympic Team Trials for Canoe Slalom, 2022 ICF Canoe Sprint Super Cup and 2022 Stand Up Paddling World Cup. RIVERSPORT has been selected to host several upcoming international events including the 2025 ICF Canoe Freestyle World Cup and 2025 ICF Canoe Slalom and Sprint Super Cups. In 2026, RIVERSPORT will host the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships. RIVERSPORT is a 501c3 nonprofit located in Oklahoma City.
