OKLAHOMA CITY (Oct. 5, 2023) – RIVERSPORT is hosting an overnight camping event this fall break. CAMPtober will take place Saturday at 5 p.m. through Sunday at 9 a.m., Oct. 7-8, giving Oklahoma City metro area families the opportunity to experience camping in a unique urban setting.
In addition to overnight camping, CAMPtober will feature outdoor games and activities, campfire stories and an outdoor movie. Dinner and breakfast are also provided.
Guests can choose from two CAMPtober passes:
Happy Camper Pass – $25 per person
Includes overnight camping/bathroom access – guests should bring their own outdoor gear and necessities – camping activities, an outdoor movie, dinner and breakfast.
Explorer Pass – $35 per person
Includes everything in the Happy Camper Pass, plus surfing, skiing, flatwater paddling and climbing.
CAMPtober passes are available for advanced purchase online at riversportokc.org/outdooroctober. Passes will also be available for walkups at RIVERSPORT’s Guest Services on Oct. 7.
CAMPtober is a part of RIVERSPORT’s Outdoor October series, offering fun outdoor events select Saturdays in October. Upcoming Outdoor October events include BIKEtober on Oct. 14 and DOGtober on Oct. 21.
