OKLAHOMA CITY (May 29, 2024) – RIVERSPORT is excited to announce an all-new Summer Surf Camp hosted by pro surfers from CCi Sports, June 3-7. This camp, designed for kids ages 8-15, runs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. daily on RIVERSPORT’s Surf OKC wave. The cost for the week-long camp is $350, and participants must be at least 42 inches tall.
Campers will learn to surf the Surf OKC FlowRider with guidance from professional surfers Matt East and Lexi Barna, the 2023 World Flowboarding Champion. Small groups of six campers will receive personalized coaching from CCi Sports and RIVERSPORT instructors, participating in fun boogie boarding and surfing games to build their skills.
The camp concludes with a surf showcase allowing campers to demonstrate their new skills to family and friends. East and Barna will be available for interviews throughout the week.
Join RIVERSPORT for a summer of surf leading up to the OklaFlow Finals, a professional surfing competition, on August 24.
