OKLAHOMA CITY (June 13, 2024) – Ready to try something new? RIVERSPORT is excited to offer a unique combination of adventure and outdoor sports leagues for adults. Whether you’re a novice or an experienced athlete, RIVERSPORT has a league for you.
Our diverse range of team opportunities includes:
Rowing: Join the RIVERSPORT Rowing League with a group or as an individual. Teams practice one evening per week for 11 weeks, then race 500 meter sprints in the season championship. Registration for the next season is open now through July 9. The championship race happens during the Oklahoma Regatta Festival (ORF) on October 4.
Dragon Boating: RIVERSPORT’s Dragon Boat League puts paddlers on the water in 10 person boats complete with dragon head and drummer! Participants meet weekly for 10 weeks to practice, then compete in 200 meter super sprint championship races during ORF on October 4.
Whitewater Rafting: Take on the rapids with our whitewater rafting league for an adrenaline-filled experience. The practice season is shorter, but the adventure level is off the charts. Compete against other metro teams in a season ending championship race at Paddlemania, October 6.
Teams meet at RIVERSPORT, downtown in the Boathouse District and all equipment and coaching is provided.
