McClendon Whitewater Center
The Aubrey K. McClendon Whitewater Center was opened in 2016 as part of the opening of RIVERSPORT Rapids. Named for the Boathouse District’s greatest champion, the McClendon Whitewater Center includes Guest Services where guest can purchase passes, RIVERSPORT Outfitters merchandise sales, Big Water Grill, Ski OKC, and a second floor Leadership Center and private event space. Smashcade, an esports experience, is also located on the second floor.
The McClendon Whitewater Center also includes a covered outdoor patio with views of Surf OKC and whitewater rafting, plus two decks with spectacular views of the Oklahoma River on one side, RIVERSPORT Rapids and the downtown skyline on the other.
